A celebration of Val's life

Val passed away on Saturday 27th June after a brave fight with cancer.  She was at home with us all and in peace. We will all miss her so much and love her with all of our hearts.

Val was a friend to many and was one of the most caring and considerate people you could wish to meet. If you were lucky enough to have her in your life you were very rich indeed.

A special thank you to the Marie Curie Nurses (St Mary's Hospice) and Hall Green District Nurses who made her last week as peaceful and comfortable as possible.  We will be forever in their debt for allowing us to spend this time with her.

Val's funeral is at Robin Hood Crematorium on Friday 17th July at 12 noon.

Due to current restrictions we are limited to 14 people at the Crematorium but please feel free to pay your respects. Mum was devastated that she would not have the funeral she wanted so your good thoughts and respect at the Crematorium would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to the care and support of the Marie Curie & Hospice at Home Nurses, Val was able to spend her last days at home with her family in a safe & peaceful environment. Please support these amazing people, without whom we would have been lost.
